
Minho (born Choi Minho Hangul: 최민호, Hanja: 崔珉豪; born December 9, 1991), is a South Korean singer, rapper, dancer, actor, model and host. He is most famous as a member of the contemporary R&B and pop quintet boy band, Shinee, under SM Entertainment. His father, Choi Yun-Gyeom, is a well-known South Korean ex-soccer coach.

He graduated from Konkuk University's affiliated high school on February 10, 2010. After taking the college admissions test the previous year, he was admitted to the year 2010 of Konkuk’s part-time admittance for the arts and culture film major.[2][edit] Career

Before debuting with Shinee, Minho modeled for Ha Sang Baek's Seoul Collection F/W 08-09 in March.[3] In 2008 he was the 3rd Youth International Video Festival "the aura" Goodwill Ambassador with Shinee co-member, Key. In 2009, he appeared in Girls' Generation's music video for their song, "Gee" in both its Korean and Japanese versions.[4] Also, he was featured in VNT's debut music video, "Sound." He is a Konkuk University ambassador.He is a permanent cast member in KBS's Dream Team Season 2 along with Shinee's Lee Taemin.[5] He is often being dubbed as the "ace" of the show, winning the challenges at numerous occasions. He currently hosts MBC's Music Core, along side fellow Shinee's member Onew.[6] Minho also takes part in the KBS program Oh! My School, also known as 100 points out of 100 ,[7] with other K-pop stars such as 2PM, U-KISS, Super Junior, Miss A, FT Island, B2ST, Sistar and Rainbow, Ms. Korea 2009 with MC's Park Myung Soo, Park Kyung Lim, Tony An, and Kim Shin Young.
He debuted as an actor on November 20, 2010 in one-episode KBS Drama Special, entitled Pianist. His co-star is actress Han Ji-hye.[8]
